I have been photographing weddings and lifestyle pictures now for 9 years, and I can't believe I get to do this for a living. What an honor it is to partner with people and capture the biggest moments of their lives.
I have called South Carolina home since I was born, and I love getting to photograph this beautiful state!
Something you might want to know about me is that I am an adventurer. I value the processes and I'm so darn nostalgic. So hanging out with me might include doing some crazy stuff for the photo... you've been warned.
Nostalgia runs deeply in my bones, and this is part of what makes me love documenting memories. I am the kind of person that drinks tea, with my Jane Austin movie playing, wrapped up in a blanket because a part of me comes alive with emotions of the past. Your memories are so much more important to me. I want people to be able to revisit their galleries for years with that same - tea drinking, blanket warming, feeling.
Even in literature and art, no man who bothers about originality will ever be original: whereas if you simply try to tell the truth (without caring twopence how often it has been told before) you will, nine times out of ten, become original without ever having noticed it.
Number of years I've spent doing what I love and documenting your stories
Number of times I've watched Lord of the Rings.
Pairs of Vans shoes that I own. I will probably be wearing these to our shoot.
Average number of hours spent staring at my computer each week
Number of children we have. Hope and Sylvie are the light behind my work.
Jesus and my family are a huge reason that I do what I do. I have felt a creative tug in my heart since I was young, and have experimented with this craft since I felt a call on my life to share the beauty of Jesus with others. He is the reason for who I am, and I pray over each of my couples and families that You would experience the love of Jesus through me.
My family is so important and dear to my life. I know EVERYONE says that (lol), but I really truly don't know what I'd do with my time outside of working without these cheerleaders by my side. My daughter Hope sits on my lap while I edit, my husband gives me creative criticism, and my 6 month old brings me smiles and light to my spirit all day long. I wouldn't be here the way I am without them.
